Kalo liat posternya, kayanya kurang menarik - tikus yang ga sengaja ke flush di toilet & menjalani petualangannya (dooh - kebaca banget dari posternya). Tapi ternyata film ini malah menarik. Ceritanya memang begitu. Yang bikin agak beda karena latar belakangnya budaya Inggris (sekali2 denger aksen Inggris). Ceritanya justru memiliki detial yang kaya & lebih menarik. Lebih lucu dari open season yg baru ditonton. Tentang seekor beruang yang hidup 'enak' sebagai entertainer di sebuah taman nasional, yang kemudian terpaksa harus kembali ke alam bebas dan hidup mandiri pada saat open season (musim berburu). Gambar animasinya bagus, pemandangannya indah, karakternya menarik dan lucu. Ceritanya biasa, mudah ditebak, penyajiannya juga biasa (jauh deh disney). Nonton juga walau bukan penggemar serial ini, tapi lebih tertarik CGI-nya (computer animation). bercerita ketika group ini harus rehat dulu sementara tapi kemudian bergabung kembali untuk mengatasi kejahatan yang muncul .. hooooh. Buat penggemar animasi komputer bolehlah. Animasinya sendiri bagus cukup detial & rapi, aksi ninjanya pun kelihatan menarik. Tutup matanya para ninja kelihatan masih terlalu tebal. Ceritanya sendiri cukup baik & mengalir dgn baik - walaupun biasa2 saja. I though how much different it could be from other … MP3 video player, phone, camera, internet access from one device. They are a lot of smart phone or pda-phone available at this moment with all those features. But one thing that apple has is a very intuitive device.

- and no stylus at all! You only have to use your (own) finger.

Fail to watch dejavu (another Danzel Washington's movie, I like his movies), I borrow this one. It's a detective story, puzzling story of a bank robbery. Seems there is nothing missing from the bank and the robberies gone like a smoke.

Pathsync - syncronizing files & folders Portable freeware yang bisa melakukan sinkronisasi folder & file antara lain PATHSYNC. -
Pada dasarnya kita memasukan lokasi dari dua folder (source & remote) yang akan di sinkronisasi, lalu eksekusi. Isi sub folder akan ikut di periksa. -
Program akan mengurutkan daftar file yang berbeda dari ke dua folder tersebut berikut statusnya (hanya ada di source, hanya ada di remote, beda size). -
Kemudian kita bisa menyorot beberapa file atau satu per satu, klik kanan dan menentukan action apa yang diperlukan (copy dari source ke remote, vise ver versa, no action). -
Setelah menentukan action untuk semua file, kita eksekusi lagi untuk menjalankan perubahan yang diinginkan. -
Untuk proses back up sebaiknya dipilih option yang "local --> Remote" kalo ingin juga menghapus file yang sudah tidak ada di source tapi masih ada di remote. Yang menarik: -

Located on JL SUKAJADI – when you exit from PASTEUR exit toll gate, on the second cross just turn right, its 1 km from there. . Previously it was shaded street with big trees where resident area (old but fine Dutch style) for many rich people – some trees are still there but the area are start to change its function as business area, mostly restaurants & factory outlets . Even though they are SOGO (first in BDG), Carrefour, and some boutiques with high brand, they focusing more on creating cozy hang out atmosphere. So many many cafés and restaurants are opened, big & modern cinema called BLITZMEGAPLEX (I think they are nine theaters) with WIFI are there. It’s like CILANDAK Town Square – two times larger. Instead of closed fully air conditioned, they build semi open air complex – low cost operation I guest :P. Last time I was there, there is open stage from ARDAN Radio on the upper ground parking area, which is still very visible from many cafés in the surrounding. Seems obvious that they targeting young people and young families – middle up of course. It still not fully operation, many places are still under construction (now a days, construction and business are synergizing very well – time is money) but traffic on JL SUKAJADI was jammed heavily already. Dengan fiture yang cukup lengkap dan harga 1.425 juta, ponsel ini cukup memuaskan. (walau posternya gaka aneh, orang ndaki tebing gunung es pake celana & kaos pendek) Fitur secara umum: CDMA 2000-1x (single band 800Mhz), 65K color, RUIM card, VGA Camera (+video recorder), MP3 Player, external memory (Micro SD), FM Radio, Speakerphone, 1000 phonebook, WAP2.0, SOS function, PIM (calendar, notes, alarm, countdown, worldtime). Pro: nice appearance, RUIM card, kamera + video, FM radio, MP3 player, external memory, handsfree provided.
Cons: single band, font yang kasar, kamera VGA (at least 1.3M), menu yang kurang intuitif, ga bisa jadi external modem. Tampilan & fisik. Unpack dari box ada handset, batterei, kartu garansi, manual, quick reference & earphone .. (love it), 'ga usah beli lagi :D.
Tampilannya sendiri cukup elegan dengan warna dasar hitam di tambah frame & back cover silver titanium (love it).
Ukuran kecil & tipis (L45xH102xD14.6) cukup nyaman di pegang. bentuk yang agak lebar, sementara ukuran layar yang standard menyisakan cukup banyak space kosong di depan (waste).
Semau 'lobang' yang ada (earphone, charger, extrnal memory) ditutup sealer sehingga terlihat rapi, bahkan lensa kamera pun memiliki sliding cover. Tapi semua sealer ini ini kelihatan agak fragile - gampang putus. Display. Dgn 65000 color memang gambar icon yang ada di menu utama yg dibuat lebih detial & animated terlihat bagus. Tapi sayang tidak semua icon memanfaatkan ketajaman ini, beberapa icon seperti di ambil dari versi sebelumnya terlihat terlalu sederhana dan kasar. Demikina juga dengan penggunaan font (yang tidak bisa di customize) terlihat kasar, resolusi tinggi jadi mubasir. Seperti membaca dengan font sans-serif/ MS dialog di monitor 1024, what a waste.
Menu. Ada 9 menu utama. Struktur hirarki nya sendiri sebetulnya cukup simple. Tapi kadang tidak standard, untuk beberapa hal kita harus dig down ke dalam, sementara di tempat lain, scoll ke arah samping (membingungkan). Ada beberapa option juga yang tidak masuk dalam menu ini, jadi semacam menu tersembunyi. Misalkan kita ingin mematikan atau mengecilkan volume tuts sewaktu di tekan, caranya dari posisi stand by, klik tombol volume - saya setengah mati mencari option ini & tidak ada di buku manual pula (hate this). Ada menu yang hanya muncul saat kita melakukan/menerima panggilan (speaker phone).
Bila kita meng-highligh satu menu, akan muncul satu baris tambahan di bawahnya yang menunjukan isi parameter untuk menu tersebut (jika kita highlight auto-key-lock, baris info bisa menunjukan 'off' yang merupakan paramater yang aktif). Tapi ini justru menambah cluter dari display, perlu waktu untuk membiasakan diri melihatnya (ditambah font yang jelek).
Navigation. tombol navigasi (←↑↓→) khusus untuk up & down lebih tipis sehingga cukup sulit untuk di tekan. Dalam posisi standby ini masing2 sudah di set untuk sms, MP3, kamera, Radio & WAP (tengah). Biasanya saat kita browsing menu, tombol navigasi paling tengah bisa dipakai untuk memilih option, tapi sekarang pilihan dilakukan oleh tombol paling kiri. Tombol tengah hanya bisa dipakai saat posisi idle untuk akses WAP (waste).
Camera. Walaupun hanya VGA tapi cukup banyak option yang ditawarkan selain mode (single shot, serial shot, divided shot, video, postcard) size & quality, white balance (auto, daylight, cloudy, incadescent, flourescent, timer), effect (none, mono, sepia, negative, emboss, sketch, some frame, guidelines (3 boxes rule), save target, zoom 4x. Qualitas, belum sempet donwload.
FM Radio. Suara lumayan bersih. Manual scan lumayan ribet harus click per 0.1 Mhz. Ada juga auto scan, tapi di coba di rumah tidak banyak radio yang kena. Channel bisa di save.

PASKAL Hyper Square ini berlokasi di JL PASIR KALIKI, cukup dekat dengan Stasiun Kereta Api BANDUNG. kalo dari keluar tol PASTEUR harus kearah selatan dan perlu sedikit memutar. Bangunannya banyak berbentuk ruko-ruko, mirip komplek D'BEST di JL FATMAWATI. Baru 1/3 dari ruko-ruko itu yang tersisi dan sebagian besar digunakan untuk restaurant. Selain itu di bagian belakang ada juga food court besar dengan suasana outdoor cafe. Baik food court maupun ruko-ruko tersebut banyak menjual makanan yang sudah cukup terkenal di Bandung. Jadi dari pada keliling-keliling Bandung, cukup datang ke tempat ini. Disediakan juga arena bermain untuk anak-anak. Waktu saya ke sini malam hari dan suasananya cukup enak. Dulu tempat ini adalah gudang PJKA yang lama terbengkalai dan konon cukup 'spooky' >:), masih ada pohon beringin kecil di tengah komplek saksi bisu perubahan di tempat itu. Worth to visit, selama jam buka *ya .. iyalah*.

- Beberapa terjemahan istilah asing malah kadang bikin bingung. Footnote juga tidak konsisten kadang ada kadang tidak ada. Memang ada glossary di halaman belakang (yang terlambat gue lihat), tapi lebih enak kalo istilah asing langsung di jelaskan di footnote - praktis.
- covernya bagusan yg versi terdahulu ya.
Yang menarik:- Judulnya terjemahannya bagus juga.
- Kualitas cetakan bagus, rapi & jelas.
- Translatornya, Mas Adi Seno (seorang wartawan senior & anggota MAPALA UI).
- Sekarang gw tau kenapa buku catatan perjalanan seperti ini bisa mendapat penghargaan di bidang sastra. Joe memang berbakat (seperti diakuinya di dalam buku itu juga bahwa peristiwa di Siula Grande, membuka bakat terpendamnya dalam bidang penulisan). Dia bisa menggambarkan semua perasaan dan pemikiran yang dialaminya selama peristiwa terjadi dengan cukup detail. Detail & deskriptif. Yah pokoknya kalo pengen tau bagaimana rasanya, patah kaki di tebing, berjuang untuk turun kembali, berhadapan dengan maut saat terhempas sejauh 30 meter, keputusan Simon memotong tali dimana Joe masih tergantung disana, selamat dari jurang es, dinyatakan mati, berjuang kembali ke basecamp semuanya dalam cuaca yang membekukan dan lapar dengan kemungkinan sudah tidak ada siapa-siapa disana dan jauh dari mana2. Semua ketakutan, kepasrahan, pikiran-pikiran yang muncul, semangat untuk hidup diceritakan dengan detail dan menarik. kita seperti bisa ikut merasakan semuanya dari menit ke menit. Di buku ini di ceritakan beberapa kali pandangan dan pendapat Simon (rekan joe) yang terpaksa memotong tali pengamanan di saat kritis. Orang bule memang lebih terbuka, walau kadang terlihat kasar untuk ukuran orang asia, tapi mungkin itu pendapat paling jujur yang ada, ini juga terlihat dari komentar2 Joe & Simon. Worth reading, espcially for those all outdoor enthusiast.

Yang bagus: filmnya :P, ceritanya, actionnya. James Bond bener-bener beda, yang ini lebih slenge'an. Beda tapi jadi menarik. cukup asik buat di tonton. fimnya 2 jam. Tapi terus terang aku agak bingung dengan endingnya, jadi masih penasaran nih (ada yang mo bayarin ticket buat nonton lagi ga ya?).
Jadi ati-ati nontonnya, ikuti semua dialog dengan baik ya. Terutama informasi dari si M di bagian akhir (yg kayanya gw miss). Padahal ada informasi penting disitu (kaya maen game).

Good movie. A brand new 007 images, now he is less dandy and more crude. But that make it more interesting. Don't loose the last puzzle at the end of this movie, that explain the whole story. Well, I had post about seafood that endangering our oceans life. But now I put a review of a seafood restaurant :P. I hope nothing that I eat was illegal. It's a week ago by the way. -

Most of waiters are using PDA for taking orders!!!. Ipaq 1900 series I guess. -
Food serving is relatively fast for seafood restaurant. -
But one interesting here. We are not allowed to make re-order (except drinks). So, make sure you order enough. Another trick I though. They said, its to keep serving fast (?!?). So for a portion of prawn they are 4 pieces within. -
Taste are quite good. Reasonable for price. -
Price is relatively cheep. Last time moderate portion, four persons cost us about 200,000.00. 1 portion prawn (4 big pieces) is 15,000. It said that they is employee charge (service?) per person. -

Movie: Story 3/5. Acting 3/5. Direction 2/5. Visuals 3/5. Overall 3/5.
Firstly I have a wrong perception about this movie (watching it without any references, a friend just said it’s good). I though it was a comedy. And I still looking for that till the first 30 minutes. On a half way I start get annoyed with the story. Adam Sandler's act was seems too much for me. But then I start to understand that it was actually a drama with a very strong message.
Most often we keep fast forwarding our life. Especially our personal life - which more often come from our own relationship & family. We want to simplify things & family and partnership considered as the first area to work about. This film will show us how that could turn into the biggest regret in our life. The dramatic ending really show that sometimes what we proceed and prioritized were actually not the most important in our life - family should come first (I would say, life should be in balance). But as a 'good guy' we deserve a good chance. Its remind me to Truman Show or Liar Liar.

Story 5, Acting 4, Direction 5, Visuals 5, Overall5/5 Again another movie from Ghibli Studio (Hayao Miyazaki). Still with an outstanding picture. They are a lot of beautiful scenery. One moment that I appreciate is when the storm coming, the situation looks so real. They have deep attention to the detail of image. The situation itself taken from European villages. Many scene showing the Alps. I think Miyazaki really like European's style. Story itself is about a young girl who get involve incidentally in a life of young man magician. It's full of fantasy - think about Alice in Wonderland, but with different taste of fantasy compare to original Disney's, its typical Ghibli's fantasy. It do not have as much as Disney's cheerful. It show more mature & calm manner. Overall story a bit complicated. I am not sure if young kids could easily understand. But its original and have a lot value to learn about. I dont know how many series already for Lilo & Stitch. And this time the title is Leroy & Stitch. This time they still fight Doctor Hamsterviel who create a new creature -identical twins of Stitch, only he create hundred of them. This movie is not disappointment. Story is easy but still interesting with some nice detail. Art is nice, its more like a water color art. Shape of the characters, mimic, coloring, space craft & other stuff movement looks great, they really go into detail. Like Japanese Pokemon, in this episode they are many Stitch cousin get involved and their shape like the ones in Pokemon series. The story goes wild but still make some common sense, that overall make this movie enjoyable & fun to watch.

Story 5/5, Direction 4/5, Visuals 5/5 Very Good movie. Produce by studio GHIBLI (director Hayao Miyazaki). They are many good animation came from this studio, Price Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies, Howl's moving Castle, including the Spirited Away. This is really a piece of art, image from frame to frame is amazing not just an animation. Story itself a bit strange. Story: 3-, Acting: 3, Direction: 3-, Visuals: 4 Nothing special with the story. In fact they are a lot of similarity with Madagascar. One thing I enjoy most from this movie is the quality of computer generated image ... looks so real, look at the animal's fur, especially with DVD quality.
